Upon raw leather arrival, strict quality checks are performed and hides are assorted according to their final destination. Arlei assures quality right from the start of its processes.

Located in Las Toscas, Santa Fe Province, the chrome processing tannery has an output of 15,000,000 square feet of leather per month. This facility employs 1,500 workers and uses state of the art technology to process a monthly average of 300,000 hides. Las Toscas quality department checks and grades all hides departing from the plant.

Arlei has invested U$S 4 million in its effluent treatment facility at Las Toscas, set up in 2000 next to the chrome tannery. The plant was one of the first of its kind to be implemented in a tannery in the region. With a surface area of 1000 square meters it operates 24 hours a day and has a processing capacity of 7,000,000 liters a day.
