CARBON NEUTRAL scope 2.

As part of our commitment with the environment, in 2023 Arlei became CARBON NEUTRAL scope 2 in accordance to standard ISO 14064-1.

80% of the electrical energy we used during 2023 came from Eolic sources, avoiding the emissions of GHG. Part of the remaining 20% was mitigated by carbon captured through our own plantation of Eucalyptus trees and the rest was compensated by the acquisition of renewable energy certificates.

We are very proud to announce that we have achieved our goal of becoming CARBON NEUTRAL scope 2, two years before our aim which was 2025.
